Are you looking for a piano teacher for your children? Are you a busy professional wanting to take music lessons for relaxation? Perhaps you are a pianist wanting to begin a career as a church organist, or a church organist wanting to hone your skills. You might even be an accomplished musician wanting to prepare for a recital or opera audition. You might even be interested in music theory or history classes or want to study Russian music or choral conducting. There might even be a local orchestra that you might consider joining. If any of the above strikes a chord with you, you might consider The Music Academy - Conservatory Teaching in Your Community. Let us open the door to a wonderful and exciting musical experience to you.
The Music Academy - Conservatory Teaching in Your Community, originally begun as a satellite school of the Boston Conservatory in 1996, is now a non-profit collaborative of independent professional music performers and educators with studios right in your own neighborhood or near your work place. Our teachers are excellent performing musicians and highly trained educators, all with advanced degrees in music, equally at home teaching children as well as adults.
Our lessons are arranged into three Modules or sections per year, each including vacation days and holidays, and tuition can be paid, for your convenience, in even monthly installments. The Fall Module (16 Lessons) extends from September through January. The Spring Module (16 Lessons) extends from February through June. The Summer Module of July and August contains six lessons. Students may enroll at any time. Adults and more advanced children will normally have 55 minute lessons and younger children will have half-hour sessions. Recitals are scheduled several times a year for those who would like to showcase their skills. Please call or email us for information and a brochure.
