DR. G. FREDRICK GUZASKY
Director
Organ, Piano, Cello, Music Theory, Russian Studies, Church Music
G. Fredrick Guzasky's professional career extends from being a professor at Bridgewater State University, an Affiliated Artist at MIT in Cambridge, to Organist and Director of Music at a number of Boston area churches and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Illinois. As a recitalist, he has performed in New England and the Midwest, as well as Russia, Latvia, and England, receiving the Boston University Outstanding Performance Award and the EMACT Award in conducting. Highlights of more recent seasons include tours of Russia and Latvia, with engagements at the Cathedral of Riga, the Kapella Concert Hall in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as teaching master classes at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Other venues have included performances at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church in New York, the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, Boston’s Old North Church, and King’s Chapel.
As a composer, he has to his credit several Masses, numerous choral anthems, including a series based on Russian Orthodox texts, and a number of instrumental works. Dr. Guzasky is also author of the Gregorian Chant Handbook, a mystery novel, Gradus Ad Parnassum for the Organist, and soon to be available is a collection entitled Rheinberger, the Master from Liechtenstein: Music for the Organ Student.
Dr. Guzasky has done extensive research on the organ works of Josef Rheinberger, and is a founding member of the Rheinberger Foundation. Guzasky’s recordings include Comes Autumn Time, a CD of organ favorites, and G. Fredrick Guzasky – LIVE, and Isn't It Romantic.
He has taught at Eastern Illinois University, Boston University, the Clinton Fine Arts Center, and had served for several years as the director of The Boston Conservatory Satellite School in in Cohasset and Hingham, that has later developed into The Music Academy -Conservatory Teaching in Your Community, where he maintains a studio of organ, piano, harpsichord, and cello students. At his current schools, he teaches piano, music theory, music history, Russian studies, and keyboard fundamentals.
. He is also director of the Slava Chorale, a Boston based group of professional singers that perform Russian and Greek music. He is a member of The American Guild of Organists, Pi Kappa Lambda, and Phi Mu Alpha.

Evelyn Sofia Czaja
Voice, Piano
Ms. Czaja has worked with many different vocal genres and has also worked in the area of vocal repair. She has performed extensively in the Chicago and Boston areas in both opera and recitals. She also manages her own Piano Division and teaches beginning piano to students of ages five and upward. She also teaches music theory to piano and voice students who want extra help in this area of study. Ms. Czaja is also a Choir Director in the Metropolis of Boston Federation of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians.
Ms. Czaja has staged several operas both in the local community and at university level and coordinated yearly recitals for her music students to showcase their accomplishments and help them think like a real musical artist, no matter where they are in their training. Ms. Czaja is also a trained Makeup Artist and has done stage makeup as well as skincare/makeup consultations to help the emerging artist look his/her best. Ms. Czaja holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Arts in Applied Music Pedagogy. She belongs to the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Music Teachers National Association and the National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians.
Maureen Connolly
Beginning Piano, African Drumming
Ms Connolly is the Organist and Music Director of St. Nicholas Church in Hull and teaches at the Jacobs Elementary School in that same village. She has received Bachelors and masters degrees, as well as her C.A.G.S. from Bridgewater State University. She is an Adjunct Faculty member at Bridgewater State College and Endicott College. Ms Connolly is also listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers and in Manchester's Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women.
Roy Campbell
Brass
After graduating from Umass Lowell with performance degrees in piano and trombone, Roy joined Milton Berle for a two year Vaudeville tour. Upon returning to Boston he began playing for Sarah Caldwell's Boston Opera Co. and was house trombonist for the Colonial Theater. In addition, Roy played for shows at the Shubert and Wang theaters, The Charles Playhouse, The South Shore Music Circus, the North Shore Music Circus, the Cape Cod Melody Tent and Chateau DeVilles. Roy is presently principal trombonist with the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra. Roy has directed shows at the Monomoy Theater in Chatham, the Harwich Jr. Theater in Harwich, and the bands at Bridgewater State University. He has taught at Brown Un. Norwood High, Weymouth High South Shore Conservatory, and Cape Cod Conservatory. He was founder and director of Academy of Music in Centerville, Ma. Presently Roy is professor of music at Bridgewater State University.
